Shannon Platt
Shannon is a women’s health and performance coach who helps women train, fuel, and live in a way that actually supports their bodies through every phase of life.
With a background in pelvic floor health and previous pelvic health clinic owner, strength training, pre/postnatal fitness, and menopause coaching, she bridges the gap between traditional fitness and real-life women’s health, helping women build strength, confidence, and longevity without burning out or fighting their bodies.
She works with a wide range of women, from athletes to busy moms to women in their 60s and beyond who all want to feel strong, capable, and in control of their health.
Shannon is passionate about helping women move away from the all-or-nothing approach to fitness and nutrition. So many women are under-eating, overtraining, and chasing weight loss without actually feeling their best. Many women are also dealing with pelvic floor/deep core dysfunction for WAY too long contributing to poor quality of life.
She helps women shift into a more sustainable approach, helping them see what they couldn't see on their own by building strength, building a strong deep core/pelvic floor, supporting their hormones, improving energy, and creating habits that actually fit their life.
Your Core Isn’t Weak - It’s Overworking: Rethinking Pelvic Floor Training (Beyond Kegels)
Most women have heard of Kegels. Many have even tried them, maybe after seeing a pelvic floor physio or during a specific phase of life. But despite doing "all the right things” symptoms often linger or your core continues to feel like it’s “weak”. Leaking when you jump or sneeze, tension during workouts, discomfort during sex, or a core that just never feels quite right.
The missing piece? It’s not just about strengthening, it’s about learning when to relax.
In this session, you’ll learn how to reconnect with your deep core and pelvic floor in a way that actually supports your body through every stage of womanhood. We’ll break down how chronic tension (hello, years of “sucking it in”) impacts your movement, your workouts, and your overall well-being and how to shift out of it.
You’ll leave with simple, practical tools to help you:
-
Release unnecessary tension in your core and pelvic floor.
-
Properly engage your deep core when it matters.
-
Move, train, and live with more strength, confidence, and ease.
No fluff. No overwhelm. Just real, usable strategies you can start right away in your next workout.
